This position serves as a role model for Inbound Sales Representatives in the absence of the Department Supervisors or as designated. Participate in the training, development, and motivation of the sales staff. Ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast paced team environment and have strong organizational and verbal communication skills. Experience working in a logistics or import operations department preferred. This position involves assignment of harmonized tariff; duty and freight cost calculation; auditing and approving freight and Customs bills. Placing vendor and assembly purchase orders. Setting up new products in item master, and item maintenance.
Intermediate Outlook, Word, & Excel experience required. Experience writing and applying data base queries preferred. Strong keyboarding and ten-key pad skills are a must. Demonstrated steady work history and 3+ years in a purchasing or logistics team environment. Two year degree preferred but not required.
